Our prescription weight management plans begin with an initial visit. This consultation can be completed in person or virtually. You’ll need to fill out several forms and questionnaires to provide us with your complete medical health history. We’ll review any recent PCP labs drawn within the past six months, order labs for healthy screening, and discuss the treatment initiation process.

At the initiation of your treatment, we’ll review all of your lab results, complete an InBody Analysis session, and take body measurements. You’ll be provided with a Wellness Coach who can help guide you along your journey with dietary and exercise counseling.

We’ll also discuss IV therapy and B12 injections, administer any prescription weight loss medications, and provide you with any necessary instructions regarding treatments that must be self-administered. We’ll also give you more details about discounts on supporting supplements that can enhance your treatment results.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are prescription FDA-approved weight loss medications. Semaglutide is known by other brands: Wegovy, Ozempic, and Rybelsus. It’s a glucagon-like peptide 1 originally designed to help balance blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. However, studies revealed that it also had the added benefit of reducing body weight, making it an effective solution for patients with chronic weight management goals.

Tirzepatide, also known as Mounjaro, uses dual receptors GLP–1/GIP to treat type 2 diabetes and help patients lose weight. Both medications work similarly, but Tirzepatide stimulates two satiety hormones simultaneously, while Semaglutide stimulates only one.

At Southeast, Angel can write prescriptions for the above-mentioned name brand medications, but due to supply demands and as a concierge medical facility, we offer mostly compounded versions of this class of medications. You will be informed, at your consultation with Angel, if this medication is a safe option for you. We see that most of our clients either do not have medical coverage for weight loss therapies or do not meet the criteria for coverage. This is where a safe alternative decision is made during your consultation. Please understand that these medications are to be taken very seriously and we do not offer any therapies to anyone under the age of 18, or to individuals who aren’t overweight.

Starting at around the age of 30, human growth hormone production starts declining for both men and women. Peptide therapy intends to replace this loss or decline of HGH or Human growth hormone with the use of compounds called peptides. These substances are not HGH, it is a growth hormone secretagogue (GSHs) which is a class of molecules that stimulates the secretion of growth hormone from the pituitary gland.
